Shipping costs are really high! What’s going on?
It’s true - international freight and logistics have become incredibly expensive in the past few years. The prices shown on the campaign page are based on currently available data. We do believe we can bring the international shipping costs on the Roads of Fortune expansion down, but we set our estimates on the high side to avoid bad surprises later! We are optimistic that we will be able to drop the price to certain regions when we have up-to-date information closer to the time of delivery.

How will the new Roads of Fortune Expansion fit in the jam-packed box?
The Roads of Fortune expansion includes a new and improved component tray that replaces the sideways/upright tray in the Emperor box. The new tray will not only hold the new components but will be better designed to hold the existing components as well (including sleeved cards!)

I signed up for the pre-launch email. Where are my free markers?
If you signed up for the pre-launch email, you will receive a free set of upgraded score markers automatically added to your pledge manager account after the campaign (as long as you signed up using the same email address you use on Kickstarter!). Kickstarter doesn’t send notifications about this, but you will be notified in the pledge manager.

I backed the Original campaign as a Senator level. Can I get what I'm missing?
The add-on section features an upgrade that has everything you missed out on with just the base (Senator) pledge from the first campaign, including the 5th player expansion, monuments expansion, metal coins, and additional modules. If you are interested in just some of the pieces, we do have a very limited supply of items like the Monuments expansion by itself and will make it available in the PM while supplies last.

I have a Sundropped Emperor box. Will I need to sundrop the Roads of Fortune Expansion ?
While there are new plastic pieces in the Roads of Fortune box, there are no new building miniatures to be Sundropped (so nothing will be mismatched in your set)

Do I need extra Metal Coins, or does the Emperor box have enough?
The Emperor box contains enough metal coins to play with 5 players. However, as the coin supply is technically unlimited in the game, some players opt to have extra just in case those situations arise, or for the sake of convenience when playing at a big table.

Why only the Emperor box, and no Senator pledge like the first campaign?
Unfortunately, it is not feasible for us to continue printing multiple versions of the game. There are a number of logistical reasons for this, but primarily it is down to manufacturing minimum quantities. In the original campaign, the Emperor box was far and away the most popular option, so knowing we could only produce one version going forward we had to choose the Emperor. We do have a small number of Senator pledges still available on our webstore while supplies last for those who are interested! Check out Arcanewonders.com for more info.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
